Tafsir for Women
For female students. Study the meaning of the Quran, verse by verse, with a female scholar.
كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَٰرَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِA blessed Book which We have sent down to you, so that they may reflect upon its verses, and so that people of understanding may take heed.
Surah Sad 38:29How the classes work
Classes are one to one and for female students only. The scholar reads a passage with the student, explains the meaning of the words, the context of revelation and the lessons for daily life, and answers questions. Students can follow the tafsir of a complete surah or choose a theme.
Dr. Isra specialises in Usul al-Tafsir, the principles of interpretation, so students also learn how scholars arrive at the meaning of a verse.
